Turnout concrete bearers
Since 1986, SATEBA has developed pioneering solutions in the design and manufacturing of turnout concrete bearers.
« Short head » bearers
| The SATEBA positive anchorage prestressing technology uses steel washers screwed on tendons to prestress the total length of the concrete bearer. This allows the minimum distance of the fastening to the end of the beare to be reduced to 130 mm.
This feature is used for cross-overs with a reduced distance between tracks, minimising the need for long bearers. | |
Protection of signalling or electric heating wires
| To protect signalling or electric heating wires from maintenance machines such as tamping or levelling, SATEBA has designed specific bearers :
Insertion of 2 Ø 20 mm plastic pipes in the heart of the bearer.
Grooved bearers with a dedicated area for wires
